Using Salaada

Viewing prayer times requires no account and no agreement beyond these terms. Registering an account means you accept them.

Accuracy of prayer times

Times are calculated astronomically and are accurate to the method and coordinates configured for each mosque. Calculation methods legitimately differ, and a mosque may adjust its published times. The mosque's own announcement is authoritative. Salaada is a tool for publishing those times, not a religious authority on them.

Hijri dates use the tabular calendar and may differ from local moon sighting by a day.

Mosque accounts

If you administer a mosque you confirm you are authorised by that mosque to do so. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend an account that publishes false, offensive or unlawful content, or that impersonates a mosque.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Prayer times are also generated in advance and stored, so a mosque display continues showing the correct times through a short outage.

Plans and payment

The free plan is free indefinitely. Paid plans are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the current period. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

Liability

Salaada is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
